Amendment To Inter-Month Rate for New LME Polypropylene (PP) Plastic Future
  1. LCH.Clearnet Ltd has set SPAN parameters, as highlighted in bold and italic in the attached document for the new LME Polypropylene Plastic future. This has been necessary due to system capability.
  2. The changes will take place with effect from close of business Friday 27 May 2005 and will be reflected in margin calls made on Tuesday 31 May 2005.

  3. This circular supersedes circular No: LCH.Clearnet Ltd Circular No 1885; LME/346 dated 09 May 2005.

  4. Details of margin rates are available on the LME Matching and Clearing System by selecting the SPAN Initial Margin Rates report in Report Printing and Browsing and also on the LCH.Clearnet Ltd website (www.lchclearnet.com) by selecting ‘Limited’. Details can then be found under the ‘Risk & Margining’ section.
