Membership-SA: Training

The Clearnet SA rulebook states:

"Individuals that are under the Clearing Member authority or acting on behalf of the Clearing Member shall have the Authorised Clearing Operator status provided by the relevant Clearing Member, under the terms and subject to the conditions specified in an Instruction (II.2-1) LCH.Clearnet SA may organise training sessions on the two functions performed by the Authorised Clearing Operator functions".

LCH.Clearnet's range of training has been designed to assist Clearing Members in meeting this criteria.

The training curriculum includes the following:

4 modules namely:

• Introduction to the CCP & Treasury Management
• Derivatives*
• Cash equities*
• Fixed Income*

*The programme for the Derivatives, Cash Equities & Fixed Income includes:

• Clearing, settlement procedures
• Risk management and margining
