Reminder of Changes to IP addresses

On 24 October, the IP addresses used to access LCH.Clearnet's Web and FTP servers will be changing.

If you have written automated scripts or programs to download content from these servers, you may need to review your software in order to accommodate these changes. Below is a short checklist to help you with any changes you may need to make:

1. If you have used the IP address of the LCH.Clearnet Web or FTP servers directly in your program, you should change to use the DNS name instead.

2. The DNS names for LCH.Clearnet Web and FTP servers are www.lchclearnet.com and ftp.lchclearnet.com respectively.

3. If, due to technical constraints, you cannot use DNS to resolve names, please contact the LCH.Clearnet Service Desk who can advise you on which IP addresses to use

If you find that you need to update your software as a result of this change, you can make these updates as soon as you wish, as the DNS names are already registered.
