Zero Rating of VAT on Emissions Contracts

Please be advised that from today Friday 31st July 2009, and in accordance with HM Revenue and Customs Brief 46/09, VAT on emissions deliveries within the UK will be zero rated.

The implementation of these measures will result in the zero rating of delivery VAT for the following LCH.Clearnet contracts, falling under the EnClear service for emissions.
