London Stock Exchange (LSE)

The London Stock Exchange is one of the world’s oldest stock exchanges, offering listing and secondary trading in company stocks as well as Bonds, ETFs, exchange traded commodities, covered warrants and various listed structured products.  It became a publicly listed company in 2001 by listing on its own exchange. 

It is Recognised Investment Exchange (RIE) based in London, supervised by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

The London Stock Exchange is the home market for the listing and trading of UK companies.  It also offers listing and trading services for international companies, as well as listing services for small-cap companies via its AIM market.

LCH.Clearnet Limited offers clearing for order book trades in stocks, ETFs and ETCs on the London Stock Exchange for all Main Market SETS securities and an expanding number of SETSmm, SETS Plus, SEAQ and AIM securities.  All London Stock Exchange trades are settled in CREST (CrestCo).
