Technical update on Cash Fees
Flat file record specifications: minor changes
LCH.Clearnet informs members that several adjustments will be made to the flat file, following the implementation of the new fee grid on 1 October 2007. We would like to remind you that the flat file is used as a justification of the fees calculated by LCH.Clearnet SA on the Cash Markets, and help our customers to perform the reconciliation process.
The records impacted are: CFTD, CPFD, CFTT and CPFT More specifically two fields are redefined:
The data related to the currency calculation is replaced by the clearing operation currency,
The data related to the valuation calculation is replaced by the clearing operation valuation.
Please note that the updates are highlighted in yellow in the attached flat file document specifications. To illustrate these changes, an example is provided under the old format and the same example under the new format. The modification will be effective on the third open business day of November. Moreover, as already communicated by letter and to better respond to our clients expectations, the document has been updated with the unique payment date which will be applicable on the 10th open business day (instead of the 10th and 15th).The dissemination of the flat file is advanced to the 3rd open business day instead of the 5th.
