CCW Replacement Project
Publication of the eCCW Order Form & Service Offer
As previously announced in May, LCH.Clearnet SA is pleased to confirm that the new eCCW solution (Central Counterparty Webservices) will replace the current CCW workstation and will be released before the end of the year.
Key Factors of the Offer
This new technical solution will replace the current LCH.Clearnet workstation (CCW). It is based on more flexible technology (internet browser) and is less expensive.
The scope of the clearing functions will remain the same as currently offered by the CCW.
The main changes are at the posting and navigation screens level and at the user’s management level. The security of the new service will be ensured through SecurID cards, which will be allocated to nominative users. At the connection level of this new eCCW service , several options are available depending on network choice and potential use of dedicated stations. Therefore, LCH.Clearnet advises you to read the attached documentation thoroughly before ordering (order form, technical overview).
Order form: in order to facilitate the updating of the order form, we have pre-filled some parts of this document (general information, current CCW workstation). Please check and complete the form if necessary.
Technical overview: this document gives a general view of the suggested solution in order to facilitate your solution choice . It describes the technical architecture options and the general information of the eCCW access card (SecurID Technology).
