LCH.Clearnet SA is committed to optimise and rationalise its processes. Today, LCH.Clearnet SA is pleased to announce a new technical initiative which will provide clients with a simpler and cost effective solution to access CLEARING 21 ® .

Principle

The new technical solution replaces the current LCH.Clearnet workstation (CCW). It is based on more flexible technology (internet browser based) and is a less expensive solution. In a first stage, to ensure the successful implementation, LCH.Clearnet SA will begin the deployment on the basis of the current CCW inventory situation for existing users. This deployment will lead to signature of a new agreement governing the access to clearing services.

Advantages

The main advantages are as follows :

• No need anymore for dedicated PC
• The CLEARING 21® member window is moved from the current PC-embedded solution to a new Internet browser-based interface with a same functionalities.
• Access to CLEARING 21® secured by RSA SecureID® tokens
• Possibility for internet Connectivity.
• Possibility to keep the new software on members’ current secured network access solutions (AMS)
