Single Order Book, ESES and LCH.Clearnet Flux Bourse
Contacts request for the 1st launch rehearsal
Reminder:
Members are kindly requested to return their contact details in order to be easily reached during the testing periods and also during the launch rehearsal week-ends (Friday until Sunday).
LCH.Clearnet will send info flashes and SMS messages to the designated contacts throughout the migration processes from the launch of the SOB until the end of the launch of ESES stream3.
Please fulfil and return the attached form (extracted from the detailed testing guide), before Friday 18 July 2008 at the latest.
Launch Weekend: Changes to SIF/BIF files dissemination on Saturday evening
In the context of the launch strategy of ESES stream 3, the sequence of the operations to disseminate the first SIF/BIF files after migration to Members is the following:
- LCH.Clearnet converts and transfers positions to the market of reference of Multi-listed securities and changes the CSD of reference.
- LCH.Clearnet sends all the positions to settle in full ESES stream 3 configuration to Euroclear
- Euroclear validates the positions
- LCH.Clearnet disseminates the SIF/BIF files that will report the first positions for settlement in ESES stream 3.
Euroclear recently informed LCH.Clearnet that they wish to validate the positions on the Saturday evening.
As a consequence, LCH.Clearnet can only send the SIF/BIF files after Euroclear’s validation is complete on Saturday evening.
LCH.Clearnet request that Members integrate and validate the files on their reception.
LCH.Clearnet will provide support to Members on Sunday morning for theses operations and will expect feedback from Members on the files validation by Sunday around noon.
LCH.Clearnet will provide Members with more details on the revised milestones for the 1st launch rehearsal weekend soon.
