Decommissioning of the Lending and Borrowing system on the Belgian cash segment
Management by LCH.Clearnet of the decommissioning of the service
As already communicated within the framework of the ESES project and the Ope Info sent recently, LCH.Clearnet’s Lending and Borrowing (L & B) service on the Belgian Segment at Euroclear Belgium will cease.
To ensure that no lent positions remain in the L & B system and that the invoicing is totally completed by November 2008 before the launch of ESES stream3, the L & B service will be stopped on Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 after the closing of the settlement window.

Last invoice L & B: 10th business day - cash call November 14th.
As from 30th of September, the automatic membership of the Borrower as also the voluntary membership of the Lender will simultaneous stop with the cessation of the system. The Lender will be notified by registered mail of the end of their agreement with LCH.Clearnet.
