On 7 August 2008, LCH.Clearnet SA announced some major enhancements to its derivatives OPEJ files. The date for the implementation of these modifications has been previously fixed on 3 October 2008.
After receiving requests from several members to extend the test period for the OPEJ enhancements and considering the current market situation, LCH.Clearnet SA has decided to postpone the launch to 24 October 2008. Member will be receiving the new release of OPEJ files by Friday 24 October evening usual time.
For reminder, the new releases of the derivatives OPEJ files are available on the external user acceptance platform since 2 September 2008 and the enhancements of these files concern the following records:
“EXAS”, “EAVR”, “VAVA” and “LIQE” records in the OPEJ files, currently reporting underlying prices rounded to two decimals places, will be extended by two characters to report prices to four decimal places.
The “Mailing Comment” field (currently appearing in C21 messages) will be added to the existing “PATT”, “HINE” and “ALLO” records of the OPEJ files, facilitating data reconciliation.
Details of the said enhancements are provided in the attached PDF file.
