Intra-day Margin (IDM) Project: Member tests and sign-off

• With reference to the parallel-run test that started on 15 January 2007 and that finished on 23 February 2007 inclusive, we would like to inform that treasury reports are no longer distributed on the EUA platform as from Monday 26 February 2007. Intra-day session milestone messages and intra-day SPAN® parameter files remain available for testing on EUA platform if required.

• We would like to remind that members are requested to sign-off the parallel run phase and to confirm at least their ability to receive and process accordingly intra-day session milestone messages, intra-day SPAN® parameter files and intra-day treasury reports.

• Could you, please, ensure that the final sign-off form attached is returned no later than 28 February 2007 to your Local Relationship Manager.

• Due to technical maintenance operations, we inform our members that IDM features - intra-day session milestone messages and intra-day SPAN® parameter files - will not be available on EUA platform on Friday 9 March 2007 and Monday 12 March 2007.

• As previously announced (IDM service description and GMM of September 2006), the current intra-day SPAN® parameter files - intra-day Up (SPAN.OP.XXX.BA) and intra-day Down (SPAN.OP.XXX.BB) - will be replaced by the newly introduced intra-day SPAN® parameter files (SPAN.OP.XXX.BI) with the implementation of Intra-Day Margin project. As a consequence, the distribution of the corresponding CLEARING 21® PB results private files – PB.OP.XXX.B1 and PB.OP.XXX.B2 – related to these intra-day sessions Up and Down will also be stopped. The date of file removal will be confirmed soon in accordance with the project go-live publication expected in March 2007.
  
  In the meantime, and with effective date of 16 March 2007 on EUA platform, the current two public files - SPAN.OH.XXX.BA and SPAN.OH.XXX.BB - will no longer be distributed to members on their EUA clearing APIs (CAP and/or CCW) and will also not be available on EUA Website of LCH.Clearnet SA. The distribution on EUA platform of the corresponding CLEARING 21® PB results private files – PB.OH.XXX.B1 and PB.OH.XXX.B2 –will also stop effectively on16 March 2007.
