Intra-day Margin (IDM) Project : Service Description update, Launch Guide and Technical Release in Live environment 12:30.

In the perspective of the IDM Go live scheduled in March 2007, please find enclosed the two following documents :

• An update of the Intra-day Margin Service Description
  
  Service Description summarises the business rules applicable to IDM management and details one improvement requested by members that will take place on 12 March 2007 in advance of the go-live. (i.e. please refer to the availability of IDM SPAN® parameter files for all intra-day sessions section 5.1.2 of the service description). This IDM SPAN® parameter file improvement will be available for testing purpose on the EUA Website environment from 12 February 2007. Please refer to the link below :

• The Intra-day Margin Launch guide
  
  The launch guide is mainly intended to pave the way towards effective IDM go live and to recap the impacts on member’s organization.

IDM effective go live date will be communicated to members in due course depending on the regulatory authorities approval. As previously announced, LCH.Clearnet SA is pleased to confirm that the technical release of IDM in the live environment has been performed according to the initial plan (Cf: Step 3 - IDM Shadow-run in Production with effect from 1 February 2007). As a consequence and with effect from 2 February 2007, members are receiving on a daily basis around 13:30 empty treasury reports subsequent to the daily IDM session “With Cover Call” scheduled at 12:30.
