REMINDER: Shaping on French debt implementation
LCH.Clearnet would like to remind Member representatives that we are going to start the test phases for the launch of the shaping application on the 6th February 2006
The following steps have been previously detailed by a communication sent mid-January and LCH.Clearnet is pleased to provide as a reminder for members the plan for the testing period.
Free tests
The free test phases will be managed directly by members and require the participation of BrokerTec, MTS France and Euroclear France.
The participants should define the securities available in the test database and must ensure that there is a balance on these securities on Euroclear test platform.
Members will find their reporting on the Website as usual.
Structured tests
The structured test phase will be manage by LCH.Clearnet and requires the participation of Members and Euroclear.
LCH.Clearnet will use day production data throughout the dedicated week.
Members will find their reporting on the Website as usual.
In both cases tests are optional, nevertheless we strongly recommend that members carry out testing in order to ensure a smooth implementation.

Members follow up
To support the members closely, LCH.Clearnet ask that members appoint a dedicated “test project entry point” and send the information back by e-mail to the product implementation manager Can I please ask you to let me know your contact point by the end of first week of February.
