Below is an update regarding the programme for implementing GDP for LME.
We held two briefing sessions for our Members and their system suppliers on 12th May 2008 providing an outline of the programme including, scope, approach, timelines, functional changes and member impact along with our communication and consultation approach and the immediate next steps.
Over 80 people attended the briefings. We have received over 50 registration requests for the secure website, which is now up and running. We intend to publish all relevant information on this site, so please either register for access or use your login to access the latest information.

We are now in the process of putting together a list of member firms to participate in the User Group and will be contacting those members to invite them to participate.
We have held our first bi-lateral Member meeting, which we found very useful and which raised a number of issues for us to address.
We would welcome any member firm or their system supplier interested in having bi-lateral meetings to contact us with two or three dates and times in order that we can co-ordinate a meeting at your convenience. In particular we would be interested in your feedback on, although not restricted to the following:
Our indicative timelines
Implementation and deployment plans
Training Requirements
