Euroclear UK & Ireland Tariff Changes

LCH.Clearnet Ltd would like to remind its members that Euroclear UK & Ireland (EUI) have implemented a change in banding levels and corresponding tariffs that results in a fee reduction to LCH.Clearnet Ltd in respect of the provision of EUI CCP Services.

EUI have also introduced a settlement fee in respect of LCH.Clearnet UK & Irish settlements for the first time. These changes apply to all cleared UK and Irish trades from 1st April 2008 onwards.

In line with LCH.Clearnet’s policy of passing on charges relating to the provision of external services at cost, the EUI CCP Services fee reduction and new settlement charges will be reflected in member invoices from the April end of month invoice.

All members that settle with LCH.Clearnet in EUI will be subject to these additional settlement costs. Members that settle their transactions net will benefit from significant netting efficiencies and all members will benefit from LCH.Clearnet’s volume discount which will reduce these headline costs. Actual costs will be shown on a separate monthly invoice.
