Replacement Clearing System for the London Metal Exchange
LCH.Clearnet is in the process of replacing the clearing system for LME business. This is the first phase of the roll-out of its Group Derivatives Platform (GDP). The replacement clearing system for LME is planned to follow the implementation of SMART, the LME's replacement matching system.
We have organised two briefing sessions for 12th May 2008 at the Novotel Tower Bridge and invite Clearing Members of the LME and third party system suppliers supporting them to attend these sessions. These briefing sessions represent the beginning of the consultation and communication activities for the GDP LME Clearing Service Refresh project.
The two briefing sessions will last about one and half hours each, and will cover the same content.

Members are asked to nominate a maximum of two individuals to attend the briefing sessions.
