Roger Liddell, Group CEO

Roger Liddell is Group Chief Executive of LCH.Clearnet Group Limited. Roger graduated from the University of Nottingham in 1978 with a BSc in Mining Engineering. He gained an MBA from the University of Bradford in 1989. Roger spent the first ten years of his career with British Coal before joining Citibank NA in 1989. During this time he held various roles from internal operations management consultant to head of Foreign Exchange Operations.

In 1993 Roger joined Goldman Sachs, becoming Managing Director in 1998 and Head of Global Operations in 2000. He was responsible for all businesses including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives, commodities, asset management, prime brokerage and private wealth management.

Roger was a Director of Euroclear Plc from 2000 to 2005.

Christophe Hémon, CEO SA

Christophe Hémon is CEO of LCH.Clearnet SA. Previously, Christophe was General Secretary of Clearnet, with responsibility for risk, finance, legal and membership issues and treasury. Christophe started his career in the operations business side of investment banking, spending 7 years at JP Morgan followed by 10 years at Morgan Stanley.

Francis Berthomier, Group FD

Francis graduated from "ESC Amiens", a French business school, and has a "DESCF", equivalent to a UK Chartered Accountant qualification. He commenced his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, managing during seven years a wide range of audit and advisory assignments, mainly in the banking and capital market sectors in Paris and London. From 1998 he joined Morgan Stanley in Paris. Whilst there, Francis held various key roles which included Head of Finance, Head of Compliance and Chief Administrative Officer of the Paris Office. He spent his last two years at Morgan Stanley as Executive Director, Head of Finance for Continental Europe. Francis joined LCH.Clearnet in 2005 in his capacity as Group CFO.

Jackie Alexander, Group Resources & Services

Jackie Alexander is Managing Director, Human Resources and is also Company Secretary at LCH.Clearnet, having joined the company in January 2002.

Jackie was educated at South Hampstead High School for girls (GDST) in London and studied for her law degree (LL.B) at Southampton University. She continued her education at the College of Law and qualified as a solicitor in 1977.

After joining British Airways in 1977 and undertaking a number of Human Resource roles within the airline, she spent a number of years within the Public Sector culminating in her appointment as Personnel Director for Islington Health Authority.

Following a period as Director of Resources for BBC Worldwide, Jackie was headhunted by Coopers and Lybrand in 1997 to lead the Management Consultancy recruitment effort. Upon the creation of PricewaterhouseCoopers she became Recruitment Partner for the UK and Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Jackie Alexander is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a member of the British Psychological Society.
